I picked 3kg of berries

I picked about 3 kilos of berries, 1/3 blueberries and 2/3 lingonberries, with a friend. Whew. I can feel it in my legs today. We went to a little pond in the middle of the forest and there was a real treasure trove of blueberries so we'll probably have to go back as well. There's also so many frogs out there, they are such small little hoppity-hoppies.

We made such sweet and tasty blueberry jam. It is amazing on a pancake.... Although I am speaking of Finnish pancake which is apparently sacrilegious to foreigners ^^'' But that's just because it's called a pancake. Apparently Finnish pancake is more like "hotcake" in English.

I have yet to taste longonberries because you can't get them here in Austria.
