taevachiDuring EU election, far right gained a lot of seats. However, that was not the case in every country. The Left Alliance party got a historic result in Finland, making them the second largest party in the election. This has resulted in the party having the highest level of support it has had in decades. The far right was also not able to do well in the Swedish EU election.
After 14 years of disastrous rule, the Conservatives have finally been kicked to the curb in the UK. Massive victory for the Labour Party. They are not perfect by any means but it is certainly an improvement compared to the Tories.
In France's snap elections, the far right was expected to win by a big margin. However, surprising everyone, the left had a massive victory. Both the left bloc and center fared better than the far right bloc.
A lot of countries are ruled by right-wing hacks or are under a threat of falling to far right forces (including mine). But there is Hope.
