taevachi: (kazoo)
Unfortunately, I am back home. I loved being at my gf's and we did so well together. Because like, sure you can date someone but it's an entirely different thing to live together. Especially in ordinary life, with cooking and cleaning and laundry and groceries etc. But we managed everything well. I feel very positive about us.

Now it's just unfortunate that we are separated by distance. Being together is so good it just mostly heals my mental health problems and worries. But now, of course, I have to live alone in my home. At least I cleaned before leaving! It was nice to come back to an apartment that was in good order. I do think my home is pretty when not messy.
taevachi: (arlecchino)
Well well well! It does truly look like I'm back in the business, so to speak. In April, I have watched a total of five new movies, which is more than usually. Not only by my normal situation, but especially because I have had a long period of not watching much anything. Short word of each film here, except for The First Omen, which I already spoke of in an earlier post.

Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018)
I found this film fun, and I cannot understand why Star Wars fans were so pissed over it when it was released. Sure, I am not a Star Wars fan, so maybe I just don't ~get it~. I still enjoyed it though and wouldn't mind to see a sequel. But really, why did Han and Chewbacca have more chemistry between them than Han and Qi'ra? xD

Sasaki and Miyano: Graduation (2023)
A sequel to the gay anime which I actually read the manga of so it's not like the movie had surprises for me. Still enjoyable as the story is. I always wanna see the families' reaction to their gay child or sibling coming out, and this Sasaki and Miyano provides. Good for me! But what I do not want to see are side ships and the movie begins with one. However, that is luckily over quickly.

I Am Andrew Tate (2024)
A little bit funny to watch a real documentary on a real website that, in the end, teaches you the same things as a Youtube video essay would. It wasn't bad though! But I already knew a lot of what was told, though not everything.

Mussolini: The First Fascist (2022)
Your regular history documentary, watch it if you are interested in Mussolini. Though it was pretty wild to see both Italian WWII-era fascists and their opponents be inverviewed. I'll just assume those people are not fascists anymore or they wouldn't have been included.

Here's to a fruitful movie-May.
