Hello, and welcome to my brand new journal...blog...thing. I had one here before but, alas, it didn't really work out. So here is my new attempt.

Here, you will likely see me musing about life and my moods. This is important to write down for me I think, because I am currently suffering from some mental issues, and journaling that stuff can be helpful. It also helps me remember (my memory has become quite poor lately).

Of course, I am also into fandom/fannish things of various kinds.

My big passions are anything related to languages and history. That includes things like the history of a language, or cultural identities in history and the present day. If you ever want to find someone to talk Nordic culture with, I would love to. Bonus: I am also into conlanging.

Knowing Dreamwidth, I don't really expect a lot of engagement. I am also a total n00b when it comes to using this site (I was never around much on Livejournal), so I find it a bit tricky to ~engage~ with others, but I'd like to learn. If you want to leave an "I was here" mark then feel free to drop even just an emoji as a comment or something, I don't mind.

Finally, I sometimes have a rant-y style of expressing something, which some people have had a problem with. Well, my comment to that is of course "sounds like a you problem", this is my blog. But if you ever have any doubts, I'm not a mean or angry person even if it might sound like that if I'm frustrated at some issue in my life.

I hope you'll enjoy it here, for all that it is pretty quiet.

I don't know if there is a Genshin community on Dreamwidth, but there are some MDZS/CQL fans.

Yeah, the beginning is what is rockiest on Dreamwidth, especially compared to other social media where everything goes via hashtags. Friending memes are a good way to find people.
